Yes, New Connect is free to join. You can set up your profile, configure your availability, and participate in curated weekly matches.

We look at what you do and what you want to achieve—such as your background, current focus, and what you are looking to connect on—and pair you with someone whose goals and interests naturally complement yours.

Why should I add more than one availability slot?

Adding multiple availability slots makes it much easier to find a match. For a match to happen, two compatible members must have at least one overlapping time slot. Giving 2–3 time options significantly increases your chances of getting matched every week.

What happens if I don't get a match this week?

If no compatible member shares an overlapping time slot in a given week, we won't pair you with someone just for the sake of it. You'll automatically be placed in the next matching cycle with priority.

Will I meet the same person twice?

By default, our matching prioritizes introducing you to new professionals each week so your network keeps growing. However, once you've been introduced, you are free to reconnect with that same person as many times as you want through your connections dashboard.

What happens after I get matched?

Once you receive a match, you'll get an email and a notification in your dashboard displaying your match's profile, what they are looking to connect on, and your confirmed meeting time. You can exchange messages inside New Connect beforehand to say hello.

A New Connect meeting is a 30-minute 1-on-1 video call hosted directly inside New Connect. There's nothing to download or install—simply click "Join Call" when it's time to meet.

What if I need to reschedule or my match can't make the meeting?

You can propose a reschedule directly through the meeting card in your dashboard. You can add a custom time slot and propose up to 3 different time slots for your match to choose from, making it easy to find a time that works for both of you.

No. New Connect meetings and video calls are strictly private and peer-to-peer. They are never recorded or monitored.

What information about me is visible to other members?

Only your profile details—such as your name, photo, headline, industry, bio, and what you are "Looking to Connect" on—are visible to confirmed matches. Private credentials and personal email addresses are never shown.

No. We do not share your private email address or account details with your match. You have complete control over whatever personal contact information or links you choose to share during your conversation.

No. We do not use your personal information, profile details, or messages to train public AI models. AI is used solely within New Connect to understand your interests and help suggest relevant connections.

Absolutely. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, spam, or inappropriate behavior. You can report any member directly with one click from their profile or meeting card. You can also pause matching or delete your account at any time.

You can update your password at any time by navigating to Settings > Account in your dashboard. Click the "Change Password" button, enter your current password, and choose a new secure password.
